This video was sent to me by a roommate after reading an article in FIGHT Magazine about the 10 best strikers in MMA. Bas Rutten was at the top of the list that led him to search for him on youtube.com which was made in September 2006. He in turn passed it along to me. Taking Levy’s theories on collective intelligence, which states that, the good of humanity will be demonstrated on how we use these tools to help solve the problems of the world. The video would demonstrate Levy’s theory but this particular video however has been re-edited and re-cut it displays the techniques in comedic manner. The video gives power to those seeking it since it’s an instructional video on lethal street fighting techniques, in my opinion knowing some of these “techniques” is useful but it is slightly offset from Levy's theory. This video delivers these techniques in a manner that makes you laugh while you learn. This version as of yet has over 3 million views which leads me to believe its popular but whether it’s because viewers want to learn these techniques or just want a good laugh, Bas "El Guapo" Rutten is nonetheless quite a character.

I think you should mention how it's different from normal defense videos. In normal videos the instructor is usually performing the acts slowly and keeping in mind the safety of the attacker. El Guapo's demonstrations seem overly violent with sound effects which also makes it funny.
